Don't forget, he "loves chaos." At some level, 45 is enjoying our national crisis.

And is blaming China, ("China Virus", "Kung Flu&quot to create an enemy to galvanize his base and reach out for those that are afraid. It's a way of expanding his base. He is a sick sociopath, and it's akin to the misnomer "Spanish Flu" in the 1920's. Spain was the one to report it, and were villianized for doing so. Every other country kept it quiet.
China is a horrible human rights abuser country, but they also have a national purpose that has enabled them to contain this virus. The lockdown solution is now being used in other countries and seems to be the only way to contain it. Why we are not screening air travelers at this point is beyond me. With current policy, we ensuring the spread. CDC has been silenced.

He thought denying it would be the most benefit to him, but now realizes he can pursue his agenda much better playing this out. Now he's figured out he can control the purse strings of the gov't to his own ends.

I was waiting for him to climb on board the crisis express, surprised he didn't see the opportunities sooner. Crisis Capitalism on steroids.
