Worldometer now showing nearly 2000 less confirmed cases than COVID-1 site. First time I've noted significant data difference.

(11,045 posts)so with more tests, more positive results. They should go back trump's original strategy, and strictly ration kits to keep the numbers down

(35,356 posts)You see 1000 cases more than 2 weeks old with 1 death, there's a problem.
You see 100 cases with 20 deaths, there's a problem.
Odd transmission patterns could account for both. Or a mutation.
10,000 cases and 1 death might just mean that it spread quickly in the last few days.
Of course, there's the possibility that people are overlooking COVID deaths, or problems with disentangling comorbidities. But still, it's probably better than hoping for accurate test numbers.
