Here’s the latest as of an hour ago:
Trump says it’s up to the states to manage testing, find PPE, coordinate treatment. Their job, not the feds, he says.
But right now - tonight - he is opposing money being added to the next aid bill to help states pay for It all.
wtf
Trump can’t have it both ways.
Either the federal government is going to manage the response and pay for it. Or it needs to pay the states to do it.
States can’t borrow and run deficits.
This is a NATIONAL emergency. Let’s start acting like it.
