Americans now trust Obama by 11 point margin on Medicare. On Aug 23 it was a one point advantage.

No link, was just on Martin Bashier

Who do you trust to handle medicare best among likely voters

Today: Obama 54 Romney 43%

August 23 Obama 49 Romney 48

Wonder if it had anything to do with the conventions...or people starting to pay attention after labor day? snark.

I'm 53 as is my oh-so-republican BIL. I saw him at the family shindig for Labor Day. The subject of Medicare came up for our generation. I mentioned the extra $60K Romney's vouchercare plan would cost each post-Medicare-as-we-know-it retiree. My sister who is married to my BIL said she was voting for Obama. BIL sheepishly looked at me and said, "Me too." I told him what my grandmother told us as children. "You will never be rich enough that you can afford to vote republican."

and then Mittwit gets buried once and for all. This could turn into an epic rout if Democrats GOTV.

it is chockful of good news for President Obama and the Democrats. In this poll, President Obama is more trusted in foreign policy, taxes, the economy, healthcare, energy, education, and unemployment. The only issue where the President is behind is the federal budget deficit.

Democrats are now MORE enthusiastic about voting than the repubs, sure kills the 'enthusiasm gap' now doesn't it!

Here's the link, it is well worth taking a look at:

Edited to take out an out of place word.

I had read the CNN article, loved the numbers, didn't care for the slant they gave it and I didn't click on the pdf link to actually read the poll until you posted what you did.

I am also a political junkie, it drives my my family crazy at times, lol.
