Things you don't think about stocking up on during Corona Virus

I had a minor emergency last night - maybe not an emergency, but a problem. I wear orthopedic shoes and I broke a shoelace. I had to break quarantine because my shoes do not work so good without shoe strings.

Don't need to touch them to put them on or take them off.

If I feel the need I can just throw them in the washing machine.

I am almost out of toothpaste. Plus, I haven't used allergy eye drops in more than a year. My allergies have been fierce this season and I've just run out.

We're Floridians, so I have a box filled with batteries, flashlights and a radio. But no allergy eye drops or toothpaste.

hadn't used one in so long, hadn't realized it didn't work. so one run to the drug store to buy one. we tried it to make sure it worked, surprise! it didn't. So i went out again to a different drug store to buy another. Eureka, it works! Then later I thought, well I should have bought two, one for each of us, instead of using those sleeves. Oh well.

Prepared me for this, I'm not a hoarder but when I buy stuff I get double what I need. Just in case I'm poor again.. I could probably stay inside for a couple months. Though I do miss the low hum of random people blabbering.

Shoe laces is not a reason to break quarantine or self-isolation.

At times like these, it is important to be accurate.

I think the idea now is to use paper, unpack groceries, and dispose of the bag, or do I sanitize the reusables before and after? Either way probably makes a dent in the problem
