Quotes are because this seems to be right wing emphasis when it comes to stimulus talk.
So what happens when a lot of small business gets money. The virus is still climbing in numbers and they decide to just get out? Closing doors period.

(7,286 posts)I heard 3 radio interviews this week from Dems:
Pocan, Baldwin and some NJ rep. They all said the same thing: help small businesses
Are they right wingers?
Did you not read and understand my post?
Do you know how loans work?
Have you ever signed the front side of paychecks?
Do you understand right now we are deciding between letting employees go or taking a loan?

We think of small businesses as the mom & pop stores down the street.
There are actually two designations of small business, one that we think of, and the other that large corporations take advantage of for tax breaks. KPMG has around 15K employees and are in dozens of countries, but is a small business in the eyes of the law because they have less than 100 owners/managing partners. I believe xE makes over $30 Billion/year... and that's a "small business." Most of the tax perks these large companies can leverage are out of the reach of real small businesses, and whenever there is a move to tighten them, the RWers cry an affront to "small business."
That being said, when FOX News says "It will hurt small businesses," we all think of the small guys. While they blow smoke up our asses, knowing that they are shielding large corporations from changes to code or law that would impact them.
