America has two diseases: Coronavirus and Donald Trump

Coronavirus can make us ill or kill us. Donald Trump is aiding and abetting illness and death.

His daily briefings are a mountain of disinformation that puts everyone at risk. If we ever needed a sane, knowledgeable leader, it's now. And what we have a psychotic, narcissistic madman holding the biggest megaphone in the world.

It seems, at this point, that most of humanity will survive this disaster. But will we learn anything? I, for one, don't hold out too much hope for human enlightenment.

But regardless of what I think, many will die. I might be one of them. But those who survive, must understand the connection between politics and disaster.

Intelligent, empathetic leaders will "get it" and be prepared for it. Fools will endanger us all.

Right now, we're in the middle of a horror that is almost beyond imagination. And we are stuck being led by a president and a political party driven by greed and me, me, me.

A virus doesn't care about me, me, me.

We have a common enemy in this virus, but only about half of us are fighting it. And all I can conclude from this is that about half of us are greedy, brain dead people. And they are also the enemy of those of us trying to heal and save lives.
