Delegation to the state health departments might make sense The states know best where supplies are needed.

That doesn’t excuse the incompetence of not knowing. The spokesperson might not have had the numbers at hand but should have the confidence to say we’ll give out numbers tomorrow.

I might have to break quarantine later. My bullshit detector is blaring alarms and we’re getting low on batteries.

I believe supplies are being shipped but have zero trust there is a plan that is being worked. Get some competent people to come with plans and track and report on progress. It’s basic management.
