(17,985 posts)Thinking of different ways to occupy myself. Cooking things I have not cooked for a long time.
Found a recipe on Google for biscuits for one or two. They were delicious. Had not baked buiscuits for a long time. Concentrated on Cakes,pies, desserts.
Made a spaghetti/ chicken, mushroom casserole. Basically, going simple. No need to go to a grocery every day for wants. I have a feeling this will change a lot of habits, waste,etc.

Heard on The Kitchen on Food Network. People are throwing away an awful lot of canned tuff because of that Sell by date. That does not mean it is not still good.It is, that is for stores.

I bought 5 Lbs of self rising flour a couple of weeks ago.
Hmm! Scones? Sounds good!
