I live in Denver. I don't know anyone with the virus, and I'm isolating at home with 2 family members, who have no symptoms and don't know anyone with the virus. My husband works at a bakery and suddenly everyone there is working 12 hour shifts or more. Empty shelves must be filled.
How about a poll? And feel free to comment.

(65,061 posts)As of 7pm last night, county reporting 13 confirmed cases. There are nearly 700,000 in the county so I'm not surprised I don't know anybody positive at this point.
And about 4 cities are half the population so likely the cases are in different towns. For now.

(65,061 posts)As many here know, I sub 7th grade to senior year in science & math. During (meaning non-golf time) I stay busy. 3 or 4 times a week. I get more like 10 calls a week. (Obviously, some I can't take because they're on the same day, the others cuz I just don't feel like it.)
Anyway, the 3 weeks prior to Mar 9, I subbed 11 times. Then I was on a jury. 14 people in a 10x15 room for 2 days.
But, it's been 9 days since the last time I was in a crowd.
Been to stores, but I'm super careful and disinfect hands every time I get back to car.
Fingers crossed.

(258 posts)My 29 yr old nephew, his 24 yr old wife, and my 57 yr old friend. All three of them describe high temperatures, cough, respiratory distress, and fatigue. My nephew and my friend got tested twice and were positive. My nephews wife didnt get tested but got sick and assumed it was COVID19.
Im in NV, isolating at home. I have a dry cough, fatigue, and a slight headache. It could be just allergies, but who knows? Im disgusted that its impossible to get tested!

(65,403 posts)fever. I always have muscle aches & fatigue, and medicine caused dehydration could be causing the headaches. I also have seasonal allergies that could account for the coughing and sneezing, and possibly even for the slight sense of congestion in my chest.
I am pretty sure I don't have C-19, but how can we be sure without testing, when symptom manifestation is so variable?

(4,397 posts)Everyone else in my family has symptoms but can't get a test.
Should there be another option for "Strongly suspect someone I know has it but can't confirm due to Trump's fuck ups"?
