One is out and one is at risk.

We give the potus virtually unlimited power under the constitution, and we assume they won't abuse it. We also assume congress will remove the potus if they don't act responsibly and constitutionally.

Both of those assumptions aren't valid right now.

It is members of the legislative and judicial who are holding the checks on the executive at bay.

The Constitution makes the checks and balances pretty clear. How or whether they are exercised is the result of the individuals involved.

Those drugs are out there antimalarial and antiretroviral drugs are helping COVID-19 patients. Italy, Israel, France, Japan, South Korea, and China are using them to keep people alive. When there is yet no vaccine, ventilators are all in use, your only option might well be off label use of drugs.

In Italy today in the ICU wards no more ventilators for those over 60 years old.

This is no joke people.

Peleg said that, from what he sees and hears in the hospital, the instructions are not to offer access to artificial respiratory machines (ventilators)to patients over 60 as such machines are limited in number.

First time post and new to DU so please forgive any posting faux pas.
The time has come and is well overdue for every American to call his or her representatives immediately and every day. From local to federal, every day if you can, demanding action immediately.
This president and all of his enablers will continue to do nothing while hundreds of thousands if not a million Americans die. This forum is a good place to vent but if you want to do your part, call every local, state and federal rep and demand action. We need med supplies, ventilators and national emergency production. We need hospitals built. People need to stay at home and we need the national guard for support. Do not wait for this president to do anything. They are lying every day and even people like Dr. Fauci are censored. Something happens to people when they enter the circle. Even our local politicians who are trying to do the right thing will become numb to an unacceptable reality. Please wake them up with your calls every day.

and your comments are very informative. I agree we need to keep on calling our Reps and Senators and demand test kits, also equipment to our local hospitals and our drs and nurses.

We must not fear but demand. Let's fight back hard. We will not let these rich bastards take us down.
