GOP senators say they 'don't need to quarantine' after lunch with Rand Paul

We’ll be praying.

Republican senators on Sunday reacted to the news that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In a statement to reporters, Romney said that he was praying for Paul, who has decreased lung capacity due to recent injuries.

unfortunately they won't get it until that happens or we lose hundreds of thousands of lives.

I can't think of a motive for Paul to report a fake positive test, unless he's going to "pull through with flying colors" and become the poster boy for how harmless this virus is (so people go back to work and save the economy), or that Paul's positive result becomes an excuse to delay senate proceedings. But we all know neither of those two scenarios are going to have an effect in the middle of an obvious pandemic.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theory guy, but nobody is acting like this test story is real.

he doesn't have symptoms and says he wasn't in contact with anyone who tested positive, but he got tested for no reason?

I don't know why the story would be fake, but it sounds fishy. Maybe he has a stake in a snake oil company touting a miracle cure.

They had a report of 2 people in their 60s with a fever of 102 can't get tested until their fever is 103.

Healthcare and other frontline workers can't get tested, but a bunch of asymptomatic politicians and rich people can get tested.

It's stupid and arrogant to continue large gatherings during a serious outbreak.

Sounds like toxic soup. Wish he'd give McConnell and trump big sloppy kisses.

Said the same to my hubby.

Seen the new theory about this? He really doesn't have it but is faking to get out of voting on bills he disapproves but doesn't want to incur orangeking's wrath.
