The pastor is claiming this is a national plot to get churches to close their doors. I am sure he passed the collection plate today. I am so pissed because this is in Westmoreland County where we live. These morons will keep this going on longer and longer. This one of those huge ass churches that preach politics from the pulpit and have billboards all over the area. They need to make these mega churches pay taxes.

Just wait...in a few months, they'll be praying to God to cure them. I'm Christian, but my God expects me to use my brain.

(16,928 posts)that there's some education going on, what with St. Vincent, Pitt, Seton Hill, WCCC, but, remember, it's still a blue-collar coal and steel history, along with an economy that has not seen significant growth that still has a firm grip on the families in the area. Sad but true.
And yes, there needs to be a greater watch on the "tax-free" claims by those promoting a particular political agenda.
