His daily briefings are basically campaign rallies, full of lies and misinformation. There is very little new information or useful guidance.
Democrats (Pelosi, Schumer, Biden et al) should ask the networks to stop broadcasting these events in their entirety, and put an end to his ridiculous never-ending self-congratulatory bullshit.

(3,635 posts)We can't let Trump control the narrative and be the only one people see as 'doing anything'.
The stimulus is a Dem policy/idea and voters need to know that.
Trump just a few weeks ago said the virus was a hoax.

(63,221 posts)responsibility to the nation than to the pathetic, temper-tantrum throwing infant in the White House.
This is a crisis and they need to turn their focus on to people who can provide comforting, factual information and to people who are leaders with the nation's best interests at heart.
They need to cut him off because all he does is keep the focus on himself, and stirs up hatred and division and that is the last thing we need right now. We need a total Trump media blackout. He is not doing any good for anybody. He is just making everything worse.

He never cared about the job itself. It was always about the publicity and self-aggrandizement.
In that respect I think he has a lot in common with Lee Harvey Oswald. They both grew up in the early days of TV perhaps envying the kind of attention and recognition they saw other people getting for being on TV and craving it for themselves.

Because in the Central time zone, at least, his people scheduled this now-daily puffery so that it preempted the regular evening newscasts. A few tough questions were asked by some in the White House press corps but Trump just keep circling back to his "wonderful" outlook.
