“The order is a stay at home, work at home order. All individuals living on the island of Oahu are ordered to stay at home and work at home except for essential activities,” Caldwell said, at a news conference at city hall.

Under the order, which Caldwell called “extraordinary,” essential activities include:

Those required for health and safety;
Those needed to get necessary services and supplies, including groceries;
Those engaging in outdoor activities “as permitted by law”;
Those performing work to provide essential products and services;
and those caring for a family member of pet."
