Holy crap. 1.2 billion students are out of school right now

That's mind-boggling. I hate to think what the long-term consequences of this will be. I know in places where girls' education lags behind boys', any interruption often becomes an excuse to take a daughter out of school permanently

District rolled out its plan over the weekend, and after it was posted some teachers found typos and such and went in to fix them.

Since it was on Google's platform, we already could see a lot of students/parents were logged in and checking it out. I think parents are going a bit crazy with their kids at home, and it's just beginning.

"Johnny, why aren't you doing your work? Get off your phone." "I can do 23 things at once. Just as well." "Wait, is that a test?" "Yeah, the teacher likes it when we work together and look up answers online." Teachers might get more support if we're ever back in the classroom.
