I have a very good friend in Nashville who thinks mr pete & i have overprepared.
She is a nurse outside of Nashville. She has a niece working at Vanderbilt.
I need to call her again.

She wasn't in pain, but she was drowning in her lungs. It was awful to watch her anxiety and being unable to breathe. Part of me knew then that was the way I was going to go. Maybe it was guilt. She was a very difficult person, even in dying, but I loved her.

need. That hospital garage is part of and close to the entire collection of hospital resources that patients might need.

view even really good (and notably normal!) hospitals as places people go to die, instead of to be saved.

Figured they’d need better lighting than a typical garage too. The stop ceiling accommodates that. Still seems like it would be cold.

shortage of hospital beds. That set up would be suitable for lots of patients not associated with the corona virus. Acute medical problems, ortho, some post ops, or patients needing to be on a monitor.

Looks like they put down a floor covering. I'd like to see some plastic enclosures to provide some safety protection from dust other junk getting tracked in that you wouldn't worry about in a regular hospital setting.

Thank goodness the hospital knows a little bit more about medicine and emergency preparedness than the very stable genius does.

They also took a bottle of half full hand sanitizer 2. They will take opened ones.
