Kudos to GOP Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska....
His speech on the Senate Floor just after the vote was intelligent, inclusive, urgent in tone. He could have not been more emphatic in calling for much more short and long-term action, and he railed against McTurtle's one-month recess.
Everything he said made me think he was a Democrat. I googled him and found out he was GOP.
