How many Republican-led states followed Trump's request to not report unemployment numbers?

Ohio said they would follow Trump's order and not report their unemployment numbers. Did they comply with that and not report their state unemployment? How about other red states - Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Arizona, etc?

Is the 3.3 million filing unemployment really only half the actual number?

(Not counting now underemployed hourly workers who have had full time jobs reduced to 30 or 20 hours or similar)

This directly contradicts the premise of your speculation. If you have any actual evidence to support your speculation, I'm all ears.

and Ohio said they would follow that request from Trump. Part of my OP was 'did they comply with that request?'
