(10,749 posts)Is it a hoax? If it is, are they going about their business with no precautions. If they are taking precautions or are isolating or self-quarantining, how are they reconciling this conflict?
Is it like the seasonal flu? If it is, then have they gotten their annual flu shot? Or are all MAGAts anti-vaxxers? And if it's like the season flu, would they normally go to their doctor or to the ER? If not, I do hope they're not going to their doctors or the ER now.
Is it real but they are immune because. . . god? If so, are they going to be sure that their young children and old parents go to church with them? Or are they suggesting that kids and mom and pop stay home, just for a while? If they are telling the kids and the parents to stay home - just to be sure - how do they reconcile that conflict?
If it's a hoax, then why are they taking any medication, much less chloroquine? And if it's just like the seasonal flu, then NyQuil is just fine. Right?
In short, their heads have to be exploding over these disconnects.
Which doesn't really bother me, as long as they stay well over 6 feet away from me.
