New York is still the majority of deaths per day and their total cases are not doubling every two days (in fact they had slightly fewer new cases today than yesterday). There's also a difference between actual cases on the ground and the numbers implied during the ramp-up in testing.

Every nation is heading the same way as Italy, unless extreme measures are used to bring it under control. We don't even know when it will peak in Italy. It is going the way the OP describes, if not in that exact timeline.

I'm like please stay at home before you become a statistic.
Also, it would be wise to sell your stock if you have any. Panic will spread including throughout the markets if death totals are high. This will lead to multiple repercussions.
