Last I heard they were back out to sea headed north.

I was too quick on posting about seeing them turn around.

Local pilots are required by law on all commercial ships in the Chesapeake bay. While the Comfort is a US Navy ship I've read that the crew is Merchant Marine. It makes sense to have the Virginia pilot on board for safety.

I don't have access to track them when out of shore range.
