borrowing in bad faith is certainly part of his so-called genius, but in this case i'm just thinking kickbacks and such. no debt involved.

he directs public funds and resources in a way that makes private profit for someone else, that someone else gives donnie a cut one way or another.

consider his latest so-called covid19 briefing that was more like an infomercial. think those companies and ceos aren't funneling money to donnie in exchange, one way or another?

But, he'd have been richer by handing over his daddy's "loans" & inheritance to a pro, and still live like an emperor for 48 years.
All the grifting, IMO, is to cover debt load.

Say what you want about their testing but tracking individual people by their cellphones would never fly in a western liberal democracy.

South Korea published infected people's location history. China, naturally, simply notified the police if you left quarantine.

... but I think a lot of people who test positive would not mind the cell phone tracing.
