Apologies - cannot copy text. Just the usual info there, adding if no mask, use something to cover face.

Faux in this area is asserting Memphis is spending $1.3 mil to buy masks for employees. (I won't even open their sites. Wonder where they would buy masks? )

What type of art do you engage in?

I studied a lot of process-based art therapy & I love to paint. 😍 Very therapeutic! 😊

when I was sick and one that I nabbed since it "was there and free" while taking someone to a doctor's appointment a year ago in a hospital. I have a box of the gloves due to making art and cooking.

I figure that from I have heard/read is true than I can recycle them if only I wear them. The virus germs are supposed to die after a week or so. If I use a mask (or gloves) and do not use it again for a month, the germs should be very dead if I have to wear them again a month after the first use. Since I have a few and can rotate and recycle them they can last indefinitely. Especially if I only have to go out once every two or three weeks. Doesn't this seem correct?

But I'm definitely not versed in these things.

I bought a small supply when I realized this was gonna blow up here in the States a couple of months ago.

You probably shouldn't bring them into your home though! And if you leave them outside, birds & other wildlife could contaminate them...

I think! Glad you are taking such diligent precautions!

I've only been out a couple of times. I wear a mask, while shopping strongly encourage young workers to register to vote & vote blue, adamabtly demand hillbillies "vote the toxic orange mfer out before he kills us all," then strip mask & dump in garbage after exiting store.

They are cloth ones with filters

I have two cloth holders ,came as a two pack.
The filters are replaceable got like 50 of them.

I come inside ,strip down put my clothes in the washer then walk to the kitchen sink. run hot water and soap in the sink ,plunge the mask into soapy water pull out the filter and wash the mask than I wash my hands, than I reach under the sink grab my Lysol and spray where I took off my clothes and shoes off and nail my shoes and the air a little bit.

Dream on!

I've been out in the last 2 days - essential grocery shopping - and NO ONE is wearing masks!

Not available. N95 masks are the only useful ones. Just not available.

NYT has it wrong, bigly.

A local company is just currently saying they will start production. Quality and style unknown as yet.

But forget thin paper masks, or making masks from old bed sheets, you are wasting your time! Even operating room surgical masks are only being used by doctors and nurses because the proper N95 masks are not available.

today. Rather have them and not need 'em, than not. Nothing fancy, that's for sure. I spent half the day taking elastic out of fitted sheets that were in very good condition, but didn't fit out beds. Good 600 count cotton, funky print and just plain, but it's what we've got. I saved my mask from the trip to the ER at the end of January, so that's what I'm using for my pattern. It'll take me a while, as I gave away my sewing machine when I sold my home and moved in with my sisters. I know the first couple will involve a lot of cussing and cat hair, but once I get rolling, the cats will settle and just give me the occasional stink eye, and I'll whip through once I get my rhythm.
