Test Results in Brazil Are Being Changed

My son got his COVID-19 results back. He was told to look for the results online, where it said he was negative. However, when he spoke to the doctor who treated him, she took him aside and told him he was positive. Confused, he asked if there was a mistake. In broken English, the doctor told him the "politics" is telling them to "officially" report negatives even when the test results are positive. But she said, when she can, she is telling the patients the truth and telling them to quarantine themselves (which he did).

Thankfully, his condition is improving, and he will be out of quarantine in a week and able to fly home.

It can't come soon enough.
