Robotic nurses. I'm not kidding. Is anybody working on them?

I would think the Japanese would be, in light of their aging population.

I realize no one is going to be able to come up with one in a matter of weeks, but it sounds like a good idea. Especially in ICU. And surgeries Are being done remotely. I mean where a person is working the robot arms.

So yeah, you can certainly invent an automated room that measures vitals, dispenses medications and maybe even moves a patient around, but that's not nursing.

That pole thing next to your bed which is holding your IV bag is also holding a computer which keeps track of your vital signs, the rate of fluids and oxy going through the tubes and output of electrodes attached to your body.

This cyber equipment is awesome and surely amounts to robotic servants for the nurses and techs. They don't look like people. Still they are robots, IMO.
