Trump Campaign Now Worried About Red State Deaths

A former White House official told the Los Angeles Times that President Trump’s reelection campaign advisors “are terrified that the coronavirus outbreak, which so far has hit largely Democratic coastal cities hardest, will soon scythe across the rural areas that remain deeply loyal to Trump.”

“The advisors have warned Trump that the political consequences at the ballot box in November will be even worse if he is seen as too lax.”

Said the former official: “Pay attention. You’re going to lose the election.”

Tim Miller: “How broken and depraved do you have to be to go on background with a reporter and say campaign aides are worried about red state deaths. Whoever said this needs to step away from politics and seek help.“

Now full of "haves" who "bugged out" of already or soon to be saturated cities and who will fill up our hospitals, which are hard up for funding no matter how you look at it, so that there will be NO availability for we "have nots" who live here full time.

And they pay very little in state/local taxes if anything. How you might ask? Farm subsidies. Many have lots of acreage and will put maybe ten cows on it and call it a ranch which has special tax breaks through the Farm Bill. Same if they grow five acres of something considered a "crop". Truly the bare minimum for the maximum in tax relief and taxpayer cash.

Now asshole45 has decided to not send help to our state, whose summertime population is 2-10 times higher when tourists and trophy homers are here. Great. Save the rich, kill the poor... insidious.

If you are a legitimate business owner running a consumer manufacturing business, you are at a distinct disadvantage to the insurance agency or rock/gravel business owners that buy 10 acres in the countryside, put 6 pet goats on it and call it a farm. They get huge tax averaging breaks that other business people don't get, so it is easier for them to smooth cash flow year to year over discrete five year periods, for example.

Really don't want to wish ill on anybody. Not even the red-staters or the trump-lovers. Not even them.

But I think just their behavior that has been well-documented and widely noticed, and described in this thread, for example, is dooming them to greater troubles. Higher numbers of confirmed cases and deaths. MUCH higher probability of all that. Because they cling to what their dear leader has assured them as he continues to lie through his teeth. They've embraced that whole "it's a hoax," "it'll go away - it's a miracle," "we have it under control" and more. Many of them are still clinging to that, I suspect.

NOBODY wants bad news. (That's what happens to OTHER people.)

And NOBODY wants to admit they were wrong... (It CAN'T be true! Our President wouldn't LIE to us, would he? He's been sent by God!)

I think Trump has fewer 'good' qualities than Hitler. I don't think he'd think twice about killing millions of people. We already know he hates certain demographics. But, he doesn't like dogs.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the fact that Hitler saw dogs as more deserving of love and compassion than Jews is worse. Trump hates anything with a pulse equally. They both had horrible hair.

So...I know what I'll be thinking about all day.

Latest figures on the Johns Hopkins site show the virus ripping through all the Southern coastal states, and up into red mid-west states.
The numbers are piling up everywhere, as is the body count.
Trump never could comprehend the way an epidemic works. It moves outward from the center(s) until every area in the nation is involved.

The virus is a-political; a full service monster that attacks humans of any and all types.
All Trump thinks about are polling numbers. As long as the so-called red states where showing very few confirmed infections, there was no need for him to take action.
In fact, the only action he has been taking was designed to keep the numbers low by not testing, and punish blue states by delaying assistance.

But his angry words and mean-spirited actions are no match for this virus' determination to spread everywhere.
Between the long incubation time, high number of asymptomatic carriers, and head-up-rectum responses by a number of Governors, this virus is the perfect stealth missile.

It's winning the war on all fronts.
