that heavy reliance on prayers is inversely proportionate to intelligence which in turn is inversely proportionate to corona infection rates.

1. Worshippers in question believed that COVID-19 is a divine curse on certain sinners
2. Worshippers figured their own sins are exempt from God's wrath
3. Worshippers figured they are blessedly immune from contagion, just because
4. Worshippers were therefore not hesitant to gather in close proximity, just because
5. Worshippers belatedly learned that social distancing and crowd avoidance was not such a bad idea after all
6. Worshippers experienced the harsh reality that in this instance God and the virus don't discriminate
7. In summary, the worshippers in question did not have a prayer
