‘Star Wars’ actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack dies from coronavirus: reports

TMZ is reporting that actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack, 76, died from coronavirus today.
From TMZ, “Andrew’s rep, Jill McCullough, tells us her client passed away Tuesday morning at a hospital outside of London as a result of complications he’d developed from COVID-19.”
McCullough told TMZ that Jack’s wife was unable to be there because she is quarantined in Australia.

He was the dialogue coach for all three Lord of the Rings movies and taught all of the actors to speak the fictional languages invented by Tolkien so that they sounded consistent, I'd imagine. He was also an actor in Episode VII and VIII of Star Wars and was the dialogue coach for Pierce Brosnan for three of his four Bond movies - perhaps helping him suppress any trace of an Irish accent, or maybe helping him with the languages that Bond always managed to master.
As someone interested in languages, I must say that Mr. Jack had a fascinating career. RIP. This is a real loss.
