When this ends, will Trump, et. al., be held to account?

During the most deadly disaster in American history, we are being governed by a cruel, malicious, evil version of Forrest Gump and some of the worst gangsters in the world - the Republican Party.

They are not only ignoring the deadly disease that is sweeping America, but they are also dismantling every rule and regulation that protects our air, food and water while we're not in a position to pay attention to their nefarious activities. Not to mention that they are also lining their own pockets with millions, or perhaps billions of dollars.

In short, they don't give a shit how many people die. After all, every once in a while you've got to thin the herd. Perhaps a few of them will also die, but their fellow pricks couldn't care less.

Sooo, what happens if the next president is a Democrat (and in charge of the DOJ)? Will anything be done to bring these murderous bastards to justice? If the situation were reversed and Dems had committed all the current ongoing crimes, a new Republican administration would have guillotines in every city and town in the country. We know that a Democratic administration will not do that. But what will they do?

No American president has ever been jailed. But if there was ever a time to change that "tradition," it's now. Trump and his fellow criminals must be made to pay for the destruction they've done. And more importantly, for the unimaginable number of deaths that will result from the coronavirus.

There will be those who say: "But what will happen the next time Republicans come to power?" The answer to that is that they can never again be allowed to come to power. How do we stop that? Nationalize the voting laws. There are far more Democrats than Republicans in America and if Repulicans can't suppress votes, they can't win. The playing field needs to be leveled.

And, most importantly, Donald Trump and his comrades must spend the rest of their lives in prison. Would a Democratic president have the balls to do this? If not, it will just be a matter of time before Republicans are back in power and taking "revenge."

After WWII, Germany outlawed the Nazi Party. Perhaps it's time we considered outlawing the Republican Party. (Although a different, more enlightened opposition party will be needed. Any country with one party rule is a dictatorship.)
