"SNIP.....

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has been diagnosed with coronavirus, CNN reports.

He is feeling well and will continue to anchor his 9 p.m. program from his home.

Gov. Cuomo confirmed the diagnosis at his press briefing: “He is going to be fine. He’s young, in good shape, strong, not as strong as he thinks, but he will be fine.”

He said he has symptoms (fever, cough, etc.) but obviously isn't critical.

At least the media is an essential service. I have less issue with Chris Cuomo getting tested than NBA players.

was shut down. It was an important message. Keep in mind NBA players spend every second night in a stadium of 35,000 people. It was a saving grace they got tested early.

made all the sense in the world for all of the players be tested because the teams played so many games against each other in a short period of time. Utah, the team of the first infected player had played several other teams in the weeks before the positive test became know, which means all the players on those other teams, the refs, team trainers, coaches and staff could possibly be carriers who could infect their families and the general public if they weren't all tested/isolated before they went about their business into the general population to possibly infect other innocent, unknowing people.
