A national emergency can't be jobbed out to the states

Had this happened in WWII we would have had 48 states, individually fighting Germany and Japan any way they possibly could. When you think about it, that's the definition of insanity. (There were only 48 states back then.)

Yet, our current president, has jobbed out the responsibility of fighting the coronavirus disease to the states. The only thing insane about this plan of action is Donald Trump.

Let me put this as bluntly as possible. The man in the White House is one of the most ignorant, evil pricks in the world. Is he as crazy as Kim Jong Il, or as diabolical as Vladimir Putin? IMO, those are things he aspires to.

Today, the "Boston Globe" said that "Trump Has Blood On His Hands." They were too kind by half. He's drowning in American blood and there is so much more to come because of this man.

I wish I could wave a wand and make this pandemic stop now. Trump doesn't. He's making too much hay out of this catastrophe. His daily press conferences are no more than political rallies driven by propaganda. His sole goal in life is to get reelected regardless of how many die. Whether it's 100,000, 200,000, or far more, this is a creature that cares only about himself.

Replacing him today isn't a realistic option. We're stuck with this horrible being until, at a minimum, January 20, 2021. And by then, we may be drowning in a sea of blood.

Only science can help us today and he will block it in every way possible. Once this is all over, (assuming anyone is left alive), there must be consequences. But Trump and the Republicans will call that "finger pointing" and "casting blame."

America will never again be the (somewhat flawed country we always were) again until we rid ourselves of Trump, today's Republican Party, and all of those who are aiding and abetting their crimes.

Face it. After this pandemic, nothing will be the same. But perhaps we can revive some semblance of democracy that Republicans have spent the past 50 years trying to destroy.

And as far as Trump, he must, must be brought to justice for his countless crimes. If this is not done, it will happen again. And again ...
