I Noticed in Trump's Word Salad Press Announcement Yesterday

that he started with an attempt to change to conversation to some sort of concern over issues not related at all to the COVID-19 pandemic. He sought to change the conversation by introducing some sort of military threat, and was flanked by military officers with dress blouses covered with accumulated ribbons.

He went on with that line of discussion for quite some time in his attempt to distract from the epidemic. It did not work. The assembled media was not having any of that nonsense.

Finally, his diversion having failed, he switched to the pressing issue of the day.

I commented to my wife, "Look what that asshole is trying to do. He's trying to divert away from the pandemic."

Can't sue a virus, though.

Distraction won't work while hundreds of thousands of Americans get sick.

incompetence and (2) it's not about him anymore;

His incompetence in this whole affair is being burned into his forehead and he'll never be able to live this down. His incompetence will be shouted each and every time someone dies from this horrible disease.

Usually requests go right through. I don't know what's up.

I'm working from home. There's usually a mid-day slowdown at my employer's servers when everyone is online.

He tucks in his chin, face gets flushed and he waves his hands around more trying to give credence to his extra stupid lies that ooze from his facial anal sphincter in an attempt to absolve himself from being held accountable. It looks just like a nine yo trying to do the same.
