1000 of Vitamin C and Zinc 30

Every day. We stocked up on both thru Amazon. Apparently, if I remember correctly, zinc actually helps to deconstruct the virus, something to that effect

3. A ton of evidence backing up Vitamin D for this. And yes, Autophagy and Ketosis for sure

For Autophagy and Ketosis, I did a 72 hour fast a couple of weeks ago and am doing intermittent fasting most days now. I eat from noon to 6 and fast for 18 hours. https://thesource.com/2018/11/21/fasting-for-72-hours-can-reset-your-entire-immune-system/

9. I started with an 18/6 IF and moved to a 20/4 schedule. Regarding Keto, that was 16g carbs per day.

.

While autophagy always operates, it doesn't really kick in until 18 hours, and goes into overdrive starting at 24 hours. By long-term fasting, it allows the digestive system time to repair itself. It also relieves stress on the liver, pancreas and other glands. Mental clarity improves, and any brain fog disappears. I also had floaters in my eyes and high ocular pressure. They both cleared up.

I went to 16 grams of carbs, because everybody's body is different. Some people enter ketosis at 45gs others at 30gs, however everyone is guaranteed to be in ketosis at 16gs per day. I wanted to remove the guesswork, and the need for sticking myself to check my ketone levels. You know when you first enter ketosos because the 'Keto Flu' will occur. That is where you start feeling like the flu is setting in. It lasts for 1-3 days. That is your body transitioning off of a carbohydrate=based diet. If you stay in ketosis, you never get that flu feeling again. If you pop out of ketosis, there are no indications, it's just that the flu will kick in again when you re-enter it. However, the next time, it will only last about a half-day. That is an indication that you've popped out of it.

Now, purists want you to stay in ketosis all the time, but I've popped out of it more than a half-dozen times for a day or so, for celebrations. If you force yourself to be rigid, with any plan, you end up resenting it and will open yourself up to failure. Just enjoy the benefits of Keto, but also enjoy eating at times. You'll find your diet changes.

As an example, you might see a Swedish Fish and want to eat it. Since one is only a few carbs, have a couple, it will satiate you and remove that craving, but won't kick you out of ketosis. You'll find the desire for sweets pretty much disappears.

People with Type-1 Diabetes will find they need less insulin. Type-2 might find less insulin or Metformin is needed, and that their pancreas might start to repair itself over time and they can actually do away with insulin all together.

10. I do a 18 / 6 most days.

I did a 72 hour fast two weeks ago just to boost my immune system for all this after seeing this study done at USC: https://thesource.com/2018/11/21/fasting-for-72-hours-can-reset-your-entire-immune-system/

Some interesting things that happened is I look 10 years younger and my eye floaters disappeared. It's not hard for me to eat between noon and 6 either. What is nice is I can kind of enjoy that window but am not really hungry outside of that window. I am starting to annoy my family trying to talk them into doing it. LOL

I had always done some amount of intermittent fasting because I was never a breakfast eater and often with my job I would not be able to eat until 2 or 3 pm so it wasn't hard for me to start doing this on a regular basis.

I heard all over the news a couple of months ago about a new study as to how important breakfast was. Funny how the news media loves to plaster those all over the place and you know it's from pressure from companies that want people to continue eating too much. Probably because the Keto diets are starting to take off. They don't really want people healthy. Their is money to be made selling insulin at exuberant prices.

I can't tell you how many friends I have who get Hangry if they go 4 hours without eating. They are also overweight and lose energy throughout the day because they never stop eating.

Glad to hear it's working for you. Clearing up the fatty liver makes perfect sense with how intermittent fasting works.

No food - just coffee till none is easy for me. After 6 is harder - but it works. I also lost 10 lbs and have more energy.

11. I started a 3 day fast

and then just kept going.

I had blood work done and it came back with some elevated liver enzymes. Dr. said probably non-alcoholic fatty liver. I explained to the Dr. I am not diabetic and I don't drink very often but I did drink quite a bit a couple days before the blood work. (I went to see the dr for a different issue and she recommended the blood work since it had been a couple years. That was the day before the appointment).

So me being me, I rushed to do some research and discovered the wonderful world of fasting. we re did the blood work and it came back perfect. It was probably my liver taking the time to process about 3 quarters of a bottle of whiskey.

For my fasting experience, I started with a 3 day fast...that turned into 5 days. I just finished my second water fast of 6 days. Since later January I've gone from 183 lbs. to 160 lbs.(this morning).

Last night I was just curious as to how my body would react to chocolate. I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate. Anyways, ate a few squares of a Hershey's almond milk choco and I couldn't believe how sweet it tasted!! It tasted unbelievably sweet.

I did not enjoy it. So I'll try dark chocolate during week and see how that tastes.
