"I'm so glad to have a president who isn't politically correct!" - What has that solved?

I seem to remember that during the big shutdown and people weren't getting paid, you couldn't write "I'M NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT" and landlords and cashiers would just accept that in lieu of payment.

And yelling "CHINESE" over and over at a vial of COVID doesn't seem to have an effect on it.

I have this crazy theory, just hear me out, that being "not politically correct" doesn't really do anything for you except alienate the 'other' from you and make you look like a boor.
