TIME LINE: the events in the last 24 hours: those that need to get caught up.

I needed to get caught up as well. Please feel free to correct any or all this post:

- A film was released on you tube attacking Muhommad and islam

- (PASTOR Terry Jones--the guy who wanted to burn the Quran at ground zero made some sort of video on you tube that outrage muslims.--HOW IS TERRY JONES FACTORING IN?)

-Attacks on Egypt and Lybia embassies.

- The Egyptian embassy sensing trouble put out a statement CONDEMNING the video and tried to show support for muslims and their faith.

- The US Embassy is attack and we loss 4 Americans

- Mitt Romney and his campaign jump on the Egyptian statement as being White House statement supporting those who attack US lives.

- MEDIA--Finally doing their job take Romney to task

- Romney double downs on his statement.

the statement was from the people in the embassy, basically calling for calm and non-violence BEFORE it was bombed.

Mitt spoke without thinking (par for the course for mitt, clearly an amateur and clearly Mitt is NOT qualified to be president. What a national disgrace Mitt and Team Romney is.)

(and Mitt's statement was given to press on 9/11, and told to hold til one minute after midnight)

President Obama, with Hillary Clinton by his side, just spoke live from the White House.

and even though it is proven he is wrong he is basically doubling down.

I thought his Olympic trip was the worse that it could get MAN Romney just proved he doesn't know how to deal with the Presidency.

The loss of life was at the Libyan Embassy... the US Embassy in Egypt made a statement that Romney is complaining about... it's more complicated than you are indicating.

Actually I'm just going to stop right there, because it's not worth the time and trouble.

A film was made that offened the muslim nation.

Some of that movie was reposted in a you tube clip --Was it done by Terry Jones as I'm understanding it?

This caused this trouble?

Trying to understand it is fine.
Putting up a "timeline" that was totally wrong is another thing.
If you want to understand it, ask questions, don't make statements.

"CONservatives" make shit up.

The trailer was uploaded to YouTube by Sam Bacile, whom The Wall Street Journal Web site identified as a 52-year old Israeli-American real estate developer in California. He told the Web site he had raised $5 million from 100 Jewish donors to make the film. “Islam is a cancer,” Mr. Bacile was quoted as saying.

The video gained international attention when a Florida pastor began promoting it along with his own proclamation of Sept. 11 as “International Judge Muhammad Day.”

In a statement on Tuesday, the pastor, Terry Jones of Gainesville, Fla., called the film “an American production, not designed to attack Muslims but to show the destructive ideology of Islam” and said it “further reveals in a satirical fashion the life of Muhammad.”

First error -- the US Embassy in Egypt released a statement CONDEMNING the video, not condoning it. They did this to try to tamper the fury and stave off an attack.

Another error -- Mitt responded AFTER the statement was released by the US Embassy in Egypt, but BEFORE 4 Americans were killed at the US Embassy in LIBYA. Unbelievably irresponsible since the situation was so dire and still in flux.
