(63,221 posts)It is just heartbreaking. We still don't have what we need here and Trump is telling everyone what a great job he is doing.
Fuck him! He is risking the lives of the healthcare workers who are on the front lines every single day. They need PPE, they need ventilators, they need backup. We all need testing for free!
Fuck these fascist, evil bastards!

(63,923 posts)so sad for those who passed away, this could have been avoided, all the more reason we have to get this SOB out.
I love Boston, as a RI'er, Boston has my heart.

(432 posts)Ive never been so disgusted about anything in my life.
I dont know how reporters, elected officials, etc. can hold their composure in the presence of Trump. Its almost as if Hitler or Pol Pot or Idi Amin or Mussolini came back to life and people just treated them like normal human beings. I dont get it.

(63,221 posts)I feel your frustration. Believe me, I get it. At this point, all we can do is get out the vote. It is so enraging that nothing more can be done right now.

(63,221 posts)this. I hate to see what is going to happen when this starts to take off in areas of the country that aren't as well equipped as we are.
I know how scary this is and I have not left my apartment in almost a month. I am not planning to in the near future if I can help it.

(206,083 posts)And I'm not just thinking of the doctors I knew, but the assistants who were the ones I mainly dealt with, the young Jamaican woman who helped me get out of bed and told me about her husband who was in the U.S. military. I hope that she and her colleagues are keeping safe.
And other than picking up a few groceries and gas - since I was nearly out - my outside activities are mainly just taking my dog out. And yes, I have a mask.

(42,766 posts)I feel bad for all but I would be particularly distressed if it was someone I knew.
With that many names I'm sure there are some families I know of that were touched.

(11,571 posts)Yesterday's death toll in NYC is very, very close to double the US armed forces average daily death toll in WW2.
415,000 service people killed over the 1309 days of US involvement in the war.
That is f'ing astounding.
