for a good many of us to die. Without testing, the risk is greater for succumbing to CV-19. Already we have witnessed that the Virus has a greater impact on urban, minority demographics. Immigrants. Undocumented workers. All expendable to those with power and money. There is also magical thinking that the Virus will limit the herd of Democrats and Liberals, while not touching Evangelicals, Republicans, and/or Ayn Rand fanatics.

To have actually voted for FDR, one would have to be 97 this year (FDR was last elected in November 1944 and you would have had to been 21 to vote in those days).

JFK Democrats... the torch has been passed to a new generation... even most of those people are 80 now.

If Trump/Mnuchin/Bannon/Hannity has its way, there will be no postal service.

I'm not sure how the nation runs without it, but I'm sure our stable genius has it figured out.

We should be rallying around the USPS to run the testing program. Perfect time. They just need to think outside the box.

The Post Office can save America!

Hurting over 2/3 of a million American workers will just fill those asswipes with glee. They truly hate us and all of this is being done to prevent us from voting (well, and to line drumpfs' and his favored oligarchs pockets with free $$ they will never repay, not even 1 dime.

Somewhere a billionaire buddy of Chump's has a plan to take over the postal system and run it for-profit. The first thing they'll do is raise the cost of postage stamps to $5 each. The 2nd thing - Postal Workers' unions will all be shut down immediately. The 3rd thing is close down 90% of the rural post offices and rural delivery. But Chump doesn't care because he'll get a nice donation to his campaign fund.

These weaselly opportunists are using the Coronavirus crisis to get their plan into effect. Same shit happened after 9/11 when they came in with the Office of Home Security that took over our lives.

Established under Obama in 2009.

https://www.phe.gov/Preparedness/planning/postal/Pages/default.aspx

The USPS has the unique ability to deliver self administrable MCM within one day to every residence in a designated geographic area; the objective being, to initiate direct residential delivery of antibiotics as soon as possible and to complete delivery within 12 hours. This envisioned quick strike could do much to meet the immediate wide-area need for life-saving drugs while local authorities put into operation their plans for dealing with post-attack needs for disease prevention and emergency health care services during the ensuing weeks or months.

The Postal Service's Surprising Role in Surviving Doomsday

The little-known Postal Plan, which dates back to the Clinton era, charges mail carriers with delivering critical supplies—like vaccines—as a last resort.
