Now as many of us know, that is a major red area of the country. And some are following the orange one's way of thinking.
However, some Republicans I still chat with via FB are taking social distancing to wild extremes.
6 feet is not good enough, they're going for 6 miles. And others you may want to not get near their property altogether because they say they will shoot.
So to all those Republicans that are saying we Democrats are taking this social distancing too far, take a look at some of your party first.

That way, no bill or nomination before the Senate gets more than one Republican to vote for it. Sounds like a great idea to me!

Had an assessor give a speech at a board of REALTORS meeting re: this and the many, many so called sovereign citizens in Southern MO.

(22,144 posts)Shouldn't get too much of a negative feeling about SW Missouri, after all, it is where Branson, MO is located at, where Joplin MO is at (the big tornado (and not the only tornado to hit this town)), where Bass Pro is at (Springfield MO). There are pockets of survivalists down there and up into the Ozarks, and through all of Southern MO (where the lakes dot the entire border of southern MO, as well as forests, timber industry is big down there).
There are also quite a few religious enclaves too, where ironically enough, they aren't too friendly to strangers either.
