Anything that sounds reassuring will necessarily be a lie, and therefore be devoid of all credibility to anyone with an IQ in at least two digits. I'm sure Obama is plenty aware of this, or he would be recording messages like mad at this very moment.

Vocalize the necessity of cooperation; that anxiety is a valid emotion; that fear and intimidation are unnecessary.
