Got a registered letter today turns out from my mortgage company

Notice of intention to accelerate and foreclose. Over the last year I've been about 2 months behind for instance tomorrow is going to pay March payment and technically the only thing would be able to be April so I was really surprised then I got this letter today when I've been basically doing it for the last year I got into this behind the were last year long story short my dog was poisoned that price spent over $7,000 on it what's up yeah I was really surprised with the the virus going around at the bank at this time shows to try to foreclose on me

So what they want by the end of May is 3 months but they're adding like another $2,500 of miscellaneous charges on there what's really makes it hard it's one of the biggest banks in Cleveland Huntington Huntington Mortgage

You might get some publicity out of this, and perhaps some help. We have a reporter with our local news who looks into things like this.

I appreciate your sentiment, but I have been here, done that. You call the mortgage company and get a customer service rep on the phone whose sole purpose is to get you to pay something - anything.

They will keep you on the line and badger you. They will not let you speak to a supervisor. They will not deal with you. They are working from a script and the script says - get money. That is all.

Normally I wouldn't criticize somebody for grammar and punctuation, but I think it is appropriate in this case because it seriously interferes with effective communication. I think I got the gist of your post, but I'm not quite sure. For example, what does this mean:

I got into this behind the were last year

I think you're saying your mortgage holder is trying to foreclose, because you're two months behind on your house payments. But you've been running two months behind for about a year, so why are they threatening to foreclose now? Somebody poisoned your dog and you spent $7,000 on veterinary bills to save your dog, and that's one of the reasons you're behind on your payments.

Did I get that right? Because I"m honestly not sure.

I hope I'm not violating any of the rules for posting on DU, but, as I said, I think it's appropriate when it interferes with effective communication.
