My trip just now to the plant nursery in Oklahoma City

Spring has sprung and people were out in force.

The place is large, so even with a lot of people there was plenty of room.

90% of the people were wearing masks.

Everyone was giving everyone else a wide berth. If not fully 6', as close as they could to 6' distance between themselves and other shoppers.

I got 3 positive comments on my face mask, 2 from customers and one from the checker.

I know it won't ultimately matter in this stupid red state, but at least no one threw tomatoes at me!

I hesitantly clicked on the post, expecting to hear a tale of criminally applied weaponized stupid. But no! Thanks for the vignette.

among people trying to do their part. I have not yet gotten the hang of one-way aisles, but expect it to be a new normal behavior soon. It's funny that the people that stand out are the ones without a mask, which I guess is why they don't wear one.
