Her photo went viral, but Melissa Ackisons campaign didnt.
The Marysville business owner lost by nearly 2 to 1 to state Rep. Bill Reineke in the Republican Party primary for the 26th Ohio Senate District.
Reineke, who owns a Seneca County car dealership, received 64.8% of the vote to easily defeat Ackison by 11,237 votes (24,599 to 13,362), according to the unofficial tally Tuesday. Absentee ballots postmarked by Monday that arrive by next Friday will be added to the totals.
Ackison was among about 100 protesters outside the Statehouse during a mid-April briefing by Gov. Mike DeWine, and was photographed among those pressed up to the window of a door into the Statehouse Atrium, where reporters were covering the governor remotely. The Dispatch photo was shared widely online and in other news outlets.

OP
Love the lightening attack on Trump. It deserves it's own special place of prominence.

she is a "career" type when it comes to these things.
She isn't some regular person who is frustrated over business being closed and not having a job or anything like that.
