Internal GOP poll shows GA tossup between Trump and Biden.

INTERNAL) POLL POSITION — A new poll in Georgia has Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) leading the special election for Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s (R-Ga.) seat, Campaign Pro’s James Arkin reported for Pros. The poll from Cygnal, conducted on behalf of the Georgia House Republican Trust (which is the state House Republican leadership), has Collins at 29 percent to Loeffler’s 11 percent. Democrat Matt Lieberman is at 12 percent and the DSCC-endorsed Raphael Warnock is at 11 percent.

In the other Senate race, Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) leads Democrat Jon Ossoff 45 percent to 39 percent. Ossoff still has to win his primary as well, which is not a given. The poll also has Trump and Biden locked in a tight battle, with Trump at 45 percent to Biden’s 44 percent. (591 likely general election voters; April 25-27; +/- 4 percentage point MOE).
