If this had happened in my youth (Well, for one thing, it wouldn't have.), Eisenhower would have squashed this movement in the blink of an eye because NO ONE would have tolerated it.

I'm pretty sure the Amon Bundy, Bugaloo folks would support cops shooting liberals. I'm not trying to minimize the black experience, I'm suggesting that the calculus has changed, and at least some categories won't be as "white" as they used to be.

White liberals wouldn't get shot. But white liberals with only signs have been removed whan white terrorists with guns have not ... especially from government buildings .. and not all in the sixties and seventies. Some in the past year.

That is indeed a far cry from getting shot. But it is a little lower on the continuum than terrorism.

White liberals shot at us. Shot themselves in the foot and the rest of us in the back when they REFUSED TO VOTE FOR THAT WOMAN. They voted third party and that in itself tells me all I need to know. I remember 2016 well. I was told it would not be so bad, we can work through this. 67K dead Americans. 67K and counting.

Liberals brought their ARMS, feet and legs to the voting booth and voted against our candidate.

They also sent the message that they won't support their supposed allies, which is tacit permission to shoot those allies. My point would be that the group of allies they gave permission to shoot would include other white liberals that don't pass their purity tests.

I'd look at it as a table of getting shot if you carried a gun to an anti-government protest and screamed at the cops.

That probably shot one is kind of hard to predict. I suspect if they were with a crowd of white conservatives they'd be OK. As a group, I'd suggest that they're going to die. The only safe place on that table is white conservative. All non-white groups are at risk, all liberal groups are at risk. It's the amount of risk that varies. I'm pretty sure the white conservatives know their risk from this behavior is 0.

So your the basic premise that black folks shouldn't carry weapons to a protest is exactly correct. For white liberals it's a judgement call, personally I would not go to a protest against voter suppression armed and scream at the cops. The chances of getting shot seem considerably higher than 0.

I'd thought that this worldwide healthcare crisis would finally bring people closer together in the U.S., and they'd strongly condemn this petulant child president of ours. Nope.
