Scores of boaters in Florida participated in a boat parade in support of President Trump that was bound for Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. According to a local NBC station, hundreds sailed in the parade, which began at the Jupiter Inlet around Sunday afternoon and ended several hours later at the presidents resort in Palm Beach.
A Facebook page set up for the event dubbed it the TRUMP Boat Parade. It asked boaters participating to fly their favorite TRUMP flag and USA Flag.
"Don't miss this event it's going to be HUGE. Lets honor President Trump for all he is doing to Keep America Great! the event page also said, referring to the presidents 2016 campaign slogan.
The tweet also featured a video of the parade, in which groups of people could be heard cheering from their boats, many of which were decorated in pro-Trump gear, as an instrumental of The Star-Spangled Banner blared in the background.
Trump thanked the boaters in a tweet later on Sunday and vowed to never let them down.

(11,949 posts)We are furloughed so taking the boat to the gulf once a week. Last Tuesday I did not see any trump flags. But normally I see one, sometimes 2. They are normally on 2 different kinds of boats. The big boys with multiple 200+ HP engines that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Or scows that barely look seaworthy. Rarely seen on well kept single engine 18-22 foot boats like ours.
My personal favs are the ragged out looking party barges that are going out way to far for that type of boat. Earlier this spring I saw a pontoon in 1-2 foot seas, or chop to be more accurate, trying to fight their way in 5-7 miles off shore. But had their trump flag flying. I guess if you are stupid enough to run that far out on a day that the wind is predicted to pick up then Covid19 seems like no risk at all. Just chuckled as we blew by them at 30 knots.

I'm thinking that the scenes at the boat ramps were pure gold.
