Natural Selection is actually carried out. It was meant to invoke an image of something like Santa's Little Helpers, only working off a different list, and with the greater public good as their aim, as opposed to individual reward.

Now it seems that perhaps Darwin's Little Helpers™® may best apply to viruses.

I think this was the video where a shopper is in with a mask having mouth and nose parts cut away. In discussion with clerk, she indicates that she couldn't breathe well so made the modification. They exchanged "have a nice day" and that was it.
