when my younger daughter was in preschool. She was a very intense two year old. When I sat down with the teacher, expecting to hear the worst, she said "Oh, Allison! I wish I had twelve Allisons!" I repeated our last name because I thought she had the wrong kid in mind. Turns out Allison WAS a delight in class. She saved all of her challenging behavior for me at home!

She always said her best students were the worst at home according to their parents. 😁

Many times as a substitute teacher I’ve encountered a parent who blames the teacher for their child not respecting the rules of school and being disruptive. more time with the little brat might wake them up.

I was taught growing up to respect teachers and not talk back.
