With The Administration Making All These Dire Covid Death Predictions - Why Oh Why......

are they letting Trump talk up re-opening? I just don't get it. Do these predictions take into account the fact that States are re-opening and people are getting careless about distancing, stay-at-home and wearing masks?

I understand that Trump is only focused on his re-election. However, if these projections come true and we see a second spike (as bad or maybe worse than the first) how does Trump think re-opening will help him?

I see it as he's just shooting himself in the foot. It's almost like he wants to lose in November.

How could he think Americans would vote for him if he just causes us to have to endure all over again what we've already been through?

He is not "trying to lose" he is betting that there will be enough positive spin out close to election time that he can win, with the cheating that is planned. Trump does not think long term. He is just trying to win each news cycle. If there is something positive out there that he may have done, then that is a win for him.

Unfortunately for him, that is only going to work so many times and I think people are going to become weary of it by November. There are a lot of stupid people who will fall for it, but I don't think there are as many as he is hoping for.

his talking O-ring, then truth is strategically leaked, even if it doesn’t jive with Don Yawn’s version of events. The disgust of the Left is matched by adoration on the Right. They MUST lie to retain power, it’s the only way forward for them. Big gamble for GOP, opening up, but they are gambling fools.
