How Do You Get Right-Wing, Fundamentalist Evangelicals to EVER Vote for a Mormon?

You have to falsely convince them that his opponent is a Muslim.

That's the "why" behind the lie.

Now you know.

(Edit for spelling errors from a very old guy.)

They have been trying to convince the wingnuts for the past four years and more that Obama was a Muslim. Old news.

I know some of these evangelicals who are now gungho for Romney. They just have a hatred of Obama that will not end. As one of them told me, "I would vote for Satan before I would vote for Obama, in fact, I think Obama is Satan".....and that isn't the same as me saying I would vote for Satan. We are talking about people who think that they personally know Satan.

at one of my daughter's high school soccor games, a fellow my age informed me that President Obama has plans to have the UN occupy our nation if he gets a second term. He insisted that troops from South Korea would occupy upstate New York.

Why Obama doesn't do this before the election, I'll never know.

In all other areas of discussion, this gentleman appeared rational and non-delusional. For example, like myself, he admitted to not understanding some of the rules of soccor. But when it came to Barack Obama, he was a victim of mass-irrational and delusional Fox Thought.

also provides the racist pigs their pathetic fig leaf of cover as their "rationale". SmileyRose, your comment, "Put the freaking antichrist up against the black guy and white evangelicals would vote for theantichrist" is spot on the mark and sadly true. Hence, by falsely making him a "Muslim" allows them to use that as to why they are voting against him.

Question: "Wondering, if Joseph Stalin were the Democratic nominee, and President Obama the Republican nominee, should we vote for President Obama?""

Major, major fundie: "Every once and a while a person asks a simple question, the answer to which is a key to unlocking the present Evangelical dilemma. You have asked just such a question. It is frankly brilliant in its wisdom and implications. This is not a question that people want asked. They do not want it asked because it shows that the emperor of pragmatism and anti-biblical voting ethics actually has no clothing on. Questions like the one you have asked make heads hurt. It forces people to determine just how far they are willing to live with the implications of the reality that they would rather vote for a pro-abortion, statist, pro-sodomite, Christ-mocking, anti-trinitarian statist who is a pachyderm, then a pro-sodomite, pro-abortion, Christ-mocking, statist, professed Evangelical who is a donkey. At the end of the day, there are really only two schools of thought. The one is driven by fear, partisanship, and the need to find and vote for the advocate for murder and perversion who is not quite as bad as the other advocate for murder and perversion. The second view is driven by the perspective that the Bible establishes minimal threshold standards for a civil magistrate (not perfection), and that the Christian is duty bound to the Lord to honor those standards. The second view is the view of hope because at its heart is the recognition that the key to victory in America is not the outcome of a particular presidential election, but the honor and integrity of the Church of Jesus Christ as His representatives in the land. We will have more blessing on our country if Christians honor God's law in the ballot box and thus invoke the favor of the Lord, then if we play ridiculous games selecting between gangsters, thug and despots---Hence the validity of the question asked on this blog today.
